User manual for the Avenview Remote Screen Sharing Extender over LAN HDM-SHAREPRO-IP
The user manual for the Avenview Remote Screen Sharing Extender over LAN HDM-SHAREPRO-IP provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Computers & Solutions - Computer Peripherals - DVI/VGA KVM Extenders.
The Avenview Remote Screen Sharing Extender over LAN with KVM connects your internet router to a display up to 330 ft away to let you access any computer in your office (or home) on that display. The computers must all be linked to the same network on the router, and they can be connected either directly or by WiFi. Only Windows computers are compatible. The extender supports resolutions up to 1080p60/50 HD and digital stereo audio.
The router plugs into the extender by a CAT6 cable from up to 330 ft away, and the extender stays near the display and connects to it by an HDMI or VGA output. Accordingly, you can use a big screen HDMI TV or a VGA monitor.
You can pull up a computer on the display in one of two ways. Via an included control software, you can assign a command from the desired computer. Or you can connect a keyboard and mouse combo to the extender and use it to make your selection. A keyboard/mouse combo is simply a keyboard with a mouse integrated on it, such as those from Logitech, and it connects into the extender USB input. Support for a keyboard and mouse is the "KVM" aspect of the extender. Whichever of the two control methods you choose, the newest selected computer will always push out the current one.
Alternative to setting up through a router, you can connect one computer directly to the extender in a point-to-point connection by CAT6.
