The Blackmagic Cinema Camera Kit with EF Mount, Handgrips & LED Lights is a B & H kit that includes the 2.5K Cinema Camera in Canon EF mount, and a low profile handgrip rig both from Blackmagic Design. The kit also includes a handgrip and on camera LED lighting rig with external battery for the camera from Bescor and a padded carry bag for the camera and accessories. The camera itself is compatible with EF and ZE mount lenses with full electronic control of the lenses, it also features a 2.5K sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range, and records either 12-bit RAW files or compressed files using the Avid DNxHD codec or Apple's ProRes codec. The camera records to available 2.5" form factor SSD media.
Shoot hand held with the low profile Blackmagic handgrips, which provide control and a secure grip. Or if you need a little bit of light, the Bescor rig features multiple mounting points for the two battery powered daylight balanced LED lights. The lights have the equivalent output of a 70 watt incandescent light, and are dimmable down to 20% output. Rechargeable batteries, or readily available AA batteries power the lights. The Bescor rig also includes an external battery pack that can run the Blackmagic Cinema Camera for 3 to 4 times longer than the camera's own internal battery.
