User manual for the Bounty Hunter Quick Silver QSI
The user manual for the Bounty Hunter Quick Silver QSI provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Outdoor Gear - Metal Detectors.
Get started in the exciting hobby of metal detecting with the Bounty Hunter Quick Silver. This detector is well suited to coin and relic hunting because it has a transmission frequency of 6.6 kHz and a preset ground balance that is good for most soil types. The open 8" concentric search coil makes pinpointing objects easy as the center always has the highest returns. Detection results are displayed on an LCD display and are audible through either the built-in speaker or headphone output.
A touch pad control interface allows you to toggle between modes with ease. You can choose between an all metal mode that provides returns on all metal types or manually adjust the level of discrimination to better filter results. The approximate depth of the return is indicated on the LCD screen and are also indicated by one of 3 tones that differentiate metal type. The unit is powered by two 9V batteries, which are not included.
