These easy-to-assemble 8-packs of 26" EasyWrappe Pro 1.75" Frame Bars from Breathing Color are used for constructing pictures frames for your artwork. Each pack includes eight 26" frame bars made of kiln-dried, low acid, basswood. These 8 frame bars allow you to make 2 square frames, or you can combine this pack with other 8-packs to make 4 frames, since each frame requires 4 bars.
Each bar includes one corner wedge. Wedges provide the extra stability required for larger frames. Bars are routed with a channel to accept corner wedges and accessories.
For ease-of-assembly, each bar has an adhesive strip covered by a release liner. Not included, but made by Breathing Color and recommended for easier frame construction are 4 corner clamps, and 4 corner holding pins. Central braces for larger artwork are available in 20", 24", 30", 36", and 40" sizes. Extenders may be ordered for creating a custom length by joining two bars together end-to-end.
With the exception of a blade for trimming artwork, tools aren't required. However, for the sturdiest assembly, you may decide to use a stapler for the back edges.
