User manual for the BrickHouse Security MORzA Observa Hidden Camera 420-HCMO1
The user manual for the BrickHouse Security MORzA Observa Hidden Camera 420-HCMO1 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Hidden Cameras.
Designed to capture and record covert video day and night in your home or office, the MORzA Observa Hidden Camera from BrickHouse Security stores video to the MORzA cloud-based, video monitoring platform. About the size of a small tablet, this live-streaming, Wi-Fi enabled camera is a self-contained surveillance system that's made to resemble a Bluetooth speaker. The camera's built-in 1/4" CMOS sensor captures 1280 x 800 video, and you can set the recording quality to High, Medium, and Low. Coupled with the sensor, the camera's other lens elements, such as the f/1.4 aperture and 77° viewing angle help to minimize aberrations, such as distortion, blur, and reduced contrast.
During the day this camera captures color video, and as light levels decrease, it automatically switches to black-and-white video capture. Night vision within a range of 16.4' is also supported. In terms of encoding, this camera offers two formats: H.264 and MJPEG-4. The first format provides nearly lossless coding and greatly reduced bit rates. This format is optimal for video that doesn't have to be transferred at its highest quality. The second format independently compresses frames for higher quality images, and takes up slightly more bandwidth. However, in comparison to other video codecs, both of these compression types significantly reduce video size, contributing to faster uploads, saved bandwidth and storage space.
A service plan is required to access the cloud management platform's features, which include live video-viewing, adjustable settings, system history, notifications, mobile, and profile settings. Up to 10 users can live-view video simultaneously from a computer as well as an iOS or Android web browser. Along with the camera, a Wi-Fi antenna, mounting bracket, screws, AC power adapter and Ethernet cable are included.
