This is the core foundation of the Bright Tangerine Misfit Matte Box. It features the core frame, made of carbon fiber shade, and a two-stage to three-stage adjustable filter stage assembly.
The Misift is an ultra compact 4 x 5.65" matte box offering built-in 2-stage to 3-stage adjustability. Via a variety of clamp lens attachments, Misfit can be configured to provide up to a 143mm clamp-on attachment. At max diameter, it will cover lenses as wide as a 14mm Cooke S4 and RED Pro Zoom at 5K. Misfit also supports a rod-mount swing-away bracket and arm assembly for more efficient lens swaps. This bracket is used simultaneously with a clamp lens attachment.
Misfit features three filter stages, but one is hidden. At the turn of a few screws, you can slide open a section in the rear and reveal the third stage.
