The Cambo UL-599 Universal Mounting Block permits the mounting of a wide variety of DSLR cameras to the Ultima 35 Camera System. This universal mounting block is designed for DSLRs that do not have a dedicated mounting block, such as the Canon EOS 40D, 50D, Nikon D70, D80, D90, D300, and D700 without an attached battery grip. The height of the block is adjustable, depending on the specific camera in use, as well as the position of the tripod mount for achieving proper center alignment. This mounting block is not compatible with any L-brackets, and as such, only permits photographing in the horizontal orientation. A dedicated bayonet mount-compatible UL-bellows is also required for attachment to the Ultima 35 Camera System.
