This B&H Kit pairs the Canon XF100 HD Camcorder with a Porta Brace Hard Case for safe storage and transport. The camcorder features a 1/3" CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV III image processor that combine to support up to 1920 x 1080 video at 24p, 30p, and 60i. Video is recorded to Compact Flash cards using Canon's XF Codec, which is an MXF-wrapped adaptation of MPEG-2 4:2:2 with bit rates up to 50 Mbps. Video can be monitored using the 3.5" 920K-dot LCD or 0.24", 260K-dot EVF. Additional features include an integrated 10x zoom lens, SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization, and built-in stereoscopic 3D features when paired with an additional XF100 or XF105.
The Porta Brace hard resin plastic case is designed to provide secure transport and storage for the camcorder, with room for additional accessories. It features a foam interior, reinforced carry handle, pressure equalization valve, and dual rugged latches to keep the case shut.
