The CobraCrane BackPacker with Extension Kit is a versatile camera crane kit that is designed to meet almost any challenge. It comes with the CobraCrane 5033 Backpacker, a single bar jib arm for small camcorders, 5036 3’ Extension Kit, and 5091 SP 13’ Replacement Tension Cable. The 2-piece kit allows you to break it down for easy transport.
The BackPacker is an easy to setup jib that is simple to operate by one person, while taking good footage. It easily mounts onto a sturdy tripod (sold separately) with the CobraCrane Mounting Bracket for quick and easy setup and can shorten to 42” for portability.
While the total height depends on tripod, the CobraCrane BackPacker gains 3’ (with the included extension) above the tripod head and can reach up to 8’ above the ground (on a 5’ tripod). It can also go as low as ground level, offering incredible performance and versatility. The Backpacker is made from durable, high-strength, lightweight steel. This sturdy jib arm can hold a camcorder weighing up to 6.5 lb.
Its aluminum rails give the user the freedom to boom, swing, and tilt. The BackPacker is suitable for jobs that require climbing up the mountains, hiking on the trail, shooting on ski slopes, or for use in the wild.
The 5091 SP 13’ Replacement Tension Cable is designed for CobraCrane's Extension Kits.
