User manual for the Cognisys RangeIR Long Range IR Sensor RANGEIR01
The user manual for the Cognisys RangeIR Long Range IR Sensor RANGEIR01 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Photo Accessories - Camera Trigger Systems.
Capture birds and other moving objects easily with the RangeIR Long Range IR Sensor from Cognisys, which features standalone operation without the need for a separate transmitter and receiver. The sensor works by projecting an infrared laser towards your subject and can have its range adjusted between 9.8" to 32.8' with a knob located on the side of the unit. Also, this sensor can either be connected directly to a camera with the use of an optional cable for direct triggering or used in combination with the StopShot system for more advanced capabilities.
A response time of 0.1-16 ms ensures that you will capture fast moving subjects and the sensor will not be affected by moving shadows or bright sunlight. An indicator LED will show both power status and triggering by switching from green to red and it has an integrated 1/4"-20 thread for mounting to a tripod or light stand. Additionally, it runs on 2 AA batteries which can provide a runtime of up to 25 hours.
