The OBH-15 MK2 Phono Pre-Amplifier from Creek Audio is designed to boost the audio input level and correct the frequency response of the output from a moving magnet (MM) or moving coil (MC) phono cartridge to make it compatible with a standard line level amplifier input. Level and frequency response correction follow the standards established by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The OBH-15 MK2 has a circuit which features a discrete transistor for the MC and an integrated circuit for the MM stages. It has multiple gain settings and matching capabilities for capacitance and resistance. This pre-amplifier features a solid aluminum front panel with a black finish. Its extruded black aluminum case is fitted with turned aluminum disc feet and sound absorbing, adhesive rubber bumpers.
A OBH-Uni power supply adapter with three snap-on power connectors is included. These power adapter connectors can be used in Europe, the UK, and North America.
