The receiving frame offers 6 Gb/s performance when used with a 6 Gb/s drive and host configuration, and it is backwards compatible with 3 Gb/s drives and hosts. Furthermore, the connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000+ insertions. The stainless steel construction of this removable enclosure with a cooling fan helps to dissipate heat and ensures the safety of your drive. It provides reliable performance, while protecting data.
