The D-Link HD Fixed Vandal-proof Dome Network Camera with WDR Sensor provides high-quality imagery with a 1.3 megapixel WDR CMOS sensor and motorized autofocus varifocal lens with 3.6x optical zoom (3.3-12mm). Compliant with IP-66 weather-proof and IK-10 vandal-proof industry standards, the camera ensures advanced security for protection against tampering and vandalism. In addition, the camera also provides a built-in heater and a fan for outdoor environment.
Offering ePTZ feature, the Fixed Dome Network Camera allows bandwidth and CPU to be used more efficiently because only the image of the target region is encoded and transmitted. With a built-in infrared cut removable filter and a minimum illumination of 0.2 lux, the Fixed Dome Network Camera offers crisp color images in day time and grayscale images in low-light conditions. A light sensor and 12 IR LEDs offer an illumination distance up to 65.6’ (20 m) at 0 lux.
To maximize bandwidth efficiency and improve image quality, the Fixed Dome Network Camera offers real-time video compression in MJPEG, MPEG-4, and H.264 formats. In addition, the camera also supports multiple simultaneous streaming. The Fixed Dome Network Camera is equipped with a BNC video connector as well as digital input and output connectors for connecting with external devices.
The Fixed Dome Network Camera also offers features such as motion detection, flip and mirror images, and 3 configurable privacy masks. With a built-in Samba client, the camera can record video directly on any NAS (Network Attached Storage) device or an SD card slot.
Supporting 3G mobile video, the Fixed Dome Network Camera enables you to view a live video data on a 3G mobile phone with a 3G video player in real time anywhere within your 3GPP service area. Power over Ethernet (802.3af compliant) supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. The built-in network interface 10/100BASETX Ethernet port allows you to connect the camera to a network or the internet via a gateway router.
