It's applied with very little effort, tears easily, is not too sticky while handling, and can be repositioned. The tape adheres to floors of all kinds, has improved resistance to creep over time, and does not leave a messy white adhesive residue. Gaffer tape is mainly used for concerts, conventions, musical venues, film and video production, photography, trade shows, and theater.
