The user manual for the Dot Line Matte Box MB3 DL-V/MB3 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Lenses & Lens Accessories - Matte Boxes & Sunshades.
The Dot Line Matte Box MB3 is a 15mm rod mount matte box for lenses with 86mm or smaller filter threads. It's height-adjustable on the rod clamp for different sized lenses, and it's compatible with average wide angle lenses. It includes removable top, bottom, and side flags. The frame and rod clamp are aluminum and the matte box is made of ABS plastic.
One filter holder is for 4 x 4" filters and one for custom 4 x 4.56" filters. The second also supports 4 x 4" filters. Both rotate a full 360°. Two cowls are included for different sized lenses to prevent stray light from entering between the matte box and front of the lens.
