The Energy Transformation Systems PA922 Smartphone Audio Balun for iPhone is an 18" XLR female to 3.5mm TRRS male cable that enables professional microphones to be connected to your iPhone's audio input jack. This allows for high-quality digital audio recording straight on your phone. The PA922 works with condenser microphones equipped with separate power supplies or batteries. To accommodate a second audio source, such as a headset, a 3.5mm jack is also available. In order for the PA922 to function completely and to offer "real-time" monitoring of the incoming XLR microphone signal, there is a software app that is easily downloaded from iTunes.
Please note that the microphone plug must be removed from your phone to hear playback.
