The user manual for the Ewa-Marine 3D-M Underwater Housing for Sony Cyber-shot 3D-M provides

The 3D-M Underwater Housing from Ewa-Marine replaces the previous version known as the D-SW. It is a waterproof enclosure enabling you to shoot beneath the surface with your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1, W5, or W7 Digital Camera. It has a depth rating of 32.8'. Easy access to all camera controls is provided right through the clear, double-laminated PVC body.
The housing features an integrated optical glass lens port with a flat front element. The optional Splashix Zoom Extension adapter extends the length of the port by 0.4" to accommodate longer lenses and still allows you to adjust the length of the port to avoid vignetting when using wide-angle lenses. Corrosion-resistant clamping rails fit together for a waterproof seal and are tightened via two screw knobs.
The housing includes an initial supply of silica gel to absorb moisture. Also supplied is enough foam padding to fill up any extra space inside the housing in order to prevent the camera from bouncing around. The foam would only be necessary when shooting above the water's surface because underwater, the water pressure will compress the housing, getting rid of any excess space and providing a snug, secure fit.
