The Omega HD Simultaneous Playback & Record DVR with Analog Audio from Fast Forward Video delivers HD and SD broadcast quality video recording up to 1080i and 720p to an optional 2.5" SSD or HDD. It provides HD/SD-SDI video input and output connectors and records 10-bit 4:2:2 video using JPEG2000 compression to maintain video quality while saving disk space. It allows you to replay slow motion clips while still recording video, making it ideal for house of worship broadcast delay, slow-motion sport replay, and event staging applications. The DVR allows recording and playback of critical ancillary data, such as 708 closed caption, and supports up to 8 channels of audio embedded in HD-SDI signals, and up to 4 channels from SD-SDI signals. It also supports up to two channels of analog audio on XLR connectors. DVR functions are conveniently accessed using the touch screen, buttons, and jog shuttle on the front panel. Functions can also be controlled via an RS-422 controller.
