The Genus Superior Follow Focus System DSLR with Advanced Mounting System, G-P08 Pitch Gear, and G-FG Lens Gear from Genustech is a quick-release system and can be detached from the camera system without removing the other components from the rig. Featuring a new sliding bracket, it not only allows you to easily change pitch gears and helps to move the follow focus gearbox assembly away from the lens, enabling quick lens changes, without de-rigging, but also accommodates different sizes of lens.
By flipping the pitch gear assembly, you can easily rotate the lens focus drive in reverse rotation. With pre-set friction and intermeshing of gears, the follow focus system provides smooth rotation on the focus gear. For adjusting the focus, the system features a 3D beveled focus marking disc so that the user can see the focus marks from different angles. This is particular useful when shooting solo.
