Designed to reflect the legacy of the late great Les Paul, the tobacco burst colored version of the Gibson Les Paul 8 Reference Monitor uses 247W of total amplification power to drive a 1" diamond-like carbon-coated titanium tweeter crossed over at 2,700 Hz to a front-ported bass reflex loaded 8" non-woven carbon woofer. This combination produces a frequency response of 37 to 47,000 Hz with a maximum SPL output of 118 dB. This makes the monitors suitable for mixing and mastering of all music genres.
Aesthetically the monitors feature the iconic archtop Les Paul styling with a carved flame-maple front. The rear panel of the monitor includes volume as well as high and low frequency controls. Rear panel I/O connectors include an unbalanced RCA connector as well as a balanced XLR-1/4" TRS combo connector.
