The Git2 Action Pro Pack from GitUp goes where the action takes you, letting you record all of your extreme sports, outdoor adventures, and daily activities. Combining a Novatek chipset and 16MP Sony sensor, the Git2 supports up to 2880 x 2160 resolution video at 24 fps, 1080p up to 60 fps, and 720p up to 120 fps, in addition to 16MP photos. This Pro Package includes a 98'-rated waterproof case and an assortment of mounts to cover just about every situation, including solutions for helmets, handlebars, boards, and more. For an immersive feel to your video, the camera uses an ultra-wide angle lens with a 170° angle of video to capture virtually the entire scene in front of it. For use in inclement weather or underwater at depths up to 98', an optional waterproof case is available.
A 1.5" LCD screen on the back of the camera provides an easy way to monitor and playback your shots. You can also monitor video and control the camera remotely over Wi-Fi using an app designed for iOS and Android mobile devices. Additionally, an optional wrist-worn remote control is also available when you need both hands free. For viewing your videos on your HDTV, the camera features a micro HDMI port. An optional A/V output cable is also available, which is useful for outputting a live analog video feed to a wireless transmitter for remote monitor when the camera is mounted on a quadcopter or other RC aircraft.
The camera records to microSD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards up to 64GB in capacity, using the MP4 file format and H.264 compression. Audio is captured using a built-in microphone, but you can also connect an external microphone to the mini-USB port. The USB port also lets you transfer files to a computer and recharge the included 950mAh lithium-ion battery pack, which provides up to 90 minutes of 1080p video recording.
