At only 16 oz, the Verte is truly light, and stows to the size of a small windbreaker inside its own lid pocket. Comfortable to carry, the pack features a padded shoulder harness, sternum strap, and removable hip belt. The compact size allows for greater range of movement when swinging tools. Your Verte is accessed from the top with a custom, unbreakable, aluminum, anodized clip and pull cord. Underneath the top lid pocket is a zippered, security pocket for your valuables with a key lanyard. Twin daisy chains with touch-fastening, tool retainers for carrying your pick and other necessities.
For pairing down in gram increments, the tool retainers are removable. The bottom of the frame strap doubles as a pick protector, and is useful for carrying pointed tools. A removable, foam framesheet serves double-duty as a bivy pad. The framesheet is useful for helping the pack maintain its shape and cushion impact, but is easily removed when weight is mission-critical. To remain hydrated, the Verte has a reservoir sleeve with hose port. The top of the Verte has a useful haul strap. The pack is made of high-density nylon for strength and durability. So small, you may want to carry the Verte inside larger packs for short side trips, resupply, or summit peaking.
