Dual adjustable contoured aluminum frame bars and molded foam back panel with AIRFLOW channels help wrangle the load and keep you dry by letting air circulate. Fit is always just right, as the S-shaped ERGO-FIT shoulder harness adjusts for your exact torso length. An adjustable hip belt transfers the load to your waist, and load lifter straps let you control how the weight is distributed on your shoulders. The adjustable sternum strap keeps shoulder straps from spreading outwards toward your armpits and causing discomfort.
The top load design has a spindrift collar that lets you overstuff the bag, and keeps debris from finding its way in when the lid is open. A hinged front pocket with mesh side gussets lets you stuff additional gear that you might need at a moment's notice, or you don't want to put inside because it is wet or muddy. A dedicated sleeping bag compartment features horseshoe shaped external access zipper and has an internal divider. The pack is hydration bladder compatible, with dual pass-through for the drinking tube. The removable media pocket holds a music player or hand-held navigation device right at your fingertips for easy song, or route, selection.
The front has dual tool loops and lashing straps to transport ice axes, trekking poles, or other implements. Dual daisy chains let you lash your sleeping pad and tent. Dual mesh holsters keep water bottles within easy reach, or provide a place to stash smaller items. Compression straps condense the load and keep the pack tight to your back so it won't sway on the trail. A removable rain cover rounds out the features on the exterior of the pack, and keeps your gear dry in the event of a sudden shower.
