Featuring an 8MP sensor, built out of aluminum, and less than one foot in height, the HoverCam Solo 8 is a compact and robust document camera offering up to 3264 x 2448 resolution capture. Frame rates range from 30 fps at 8MP to 120 fps in VGA resolution. This Solo 8 offers 1:40 distribution, allowing, for example, a teacher to wirelessly project the computer screen to 40 students' iPads or other devices. Included also is a 1-year subscription to the HoverCam Splashtop app, which allows you to remote into a computer from an iOS or Android device and fully control the computer.
Also included -- preinstalled in the Solo -- are the HoverCam Flex 10 software, which allows full control of the Solo. Use Flex 10 to manipulate images, capture 8MP still images, record 30 fps full motion video, annotate over your live video, share documents, ASR zoom and pan, utilize advanced camera controls, scan multiple pages into one PDF file, and drag/drop files created with Solo 8 into your favorite programs.
