This 20" Beauty Dish Kit for Speedlights and VC/VS-VSD Monolights was put together by B&H to allow photographers to use this unique light shaper with a shoe mount speedlight or an Impact flash head. The Impact 20" Beauty Dish offers a bridge between softboxes and umbrellas that yields a soft but crisp light with snappy contrast and a textural quality that flatters makeup on models and accentuates character in portraiture subjects. The secret is a built-in deflector that bounces the flash's direct output backwards, filling the shallow dish and casting a wide beam of soft light forward. The Beauty Dish fits most major brands with the separate purchase of an adapter. You can use the reflector with any strobe and with hot lights up to 300W. An optional 40-degree grid and diffuser sock are also available.
