necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Film Cameras - Instant Film Cameras.
A sleek instant film camera characterized by a unique rectangular image area, the Polaroid Spectra First Edition is an original camera from the 1980s refurbished by Impossible. Differing from most Polaroid cameras, the Spectra records to its own type of film with a 3.5 x 2.9" picture size for a more cinematic aesthetic.
This camera features a 125mm f/10 plastic lens with a three-element "Quintic" design and utilizes a Sonar autofocus system for quick operation and a minimum focusing distance of 2'. A re-fitted Frog Tongue from Impossible has been added to the camera to ensure consistent and accurate developing after each shot by shielding the film from light when it is expelled from the camera. Shutter speeds from 1/245th sec. to 2.8 sec. are available and a built-in automatic electronic flash can also be used to illuminate subjects from 2-15'. As with all classic Polaroid cameras, this Spectra First Edition utilizes batteries from the film packs to power itself, alleviating the need to carry spare batteries for use.
