The General Electric VR1500 Video & Data Transceiver (850 nm, Rack) simultaneously transmits video and 1-way return data over 1 or 2 multimode optical fibers. It is suitable for use with CCTVs featuring 1-way PTZ camera control and remote signalization. Featuring 5-10 MHz video bandwidth and AM video transmission, it transmits videos up to a distance of 2.5 miles (4 km). The VR1500 supports RS-232 or RS-422 Data interfaces.
Plug-and-play capability enables easy installation without the need for any electrical or optical adjustments. Full Range Automatic Gain Control helps control noise in the signal, ensuring enhanced transmission quality. The VR1500 features LEDs that help monitor various system parameters such as power, video presence, optional contact closure, data out, and AGC.
The VR1500 Transceiver comes in a hot-swappable rack configuration, and features automatic resettable fuses on all power lines.
