JVC's DT-X71FI 7" On-Camera Field Monitor with SDI, Waveform & More is the most feature-rich model of the three in the DT-X71 series, distinguishable by its connections and software features. Two loop-outputs are linked to two SDI inputs, and an HDMI input is convertible to a separate SDI output. Supplementary software features consist of Waveform, Vectorscope, RGB Histogram, Red/Blue switchable Peaking, Focus Assist, False Color, Blue Gun, Zebra, SDI Timecode display, and a 16-channel SDI / 2-channel HDMI audio meter. The only limitations in comparison to the other two models are no RCA audio inputs and no loop-out on the Composite BNC input.
The features shared in the series are a 1024 x 600 resolution, 400 nit brightness, 900:1 contrast, a 160° viewing angle, front and rear 3-color TALLY lights accessible by an RJ-45 connector on the rear, an Underscan / Overscan switch, 1:1 Pixel-to-Pixel Zoom In, Image Rotate and Flip, 16:9 and 4:3 adjustable aspect ratios, internal color bars, and editable video title. This "FI" model has three assignable function buttons for programming the above software features into.
A 1/4"-20 swivel mount, a sun hood, and an XLR AC adapter are included. For battery power, the monitor accepts an optional 7.4V IDX SSL-JVC50 battery, which snaps onto the back without a battery plate.
