The KanexPro Professional 8 x 8 HDMI to HDBaseT Matrix Switcher is used to send high-definition video and audio signals from up to 8 sources to 8 displays or projectors. It utilizes HDBaseT technology to extend HDMI and control signals over CAT5e cables (sold separately) to devices up to 230’ (70m) away.
This 8 x 8 Matrix Switcher supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, 3D, and HDTV 1080p/60, and allows for rapid cross-point switching. It also offers full HDCP management for continuous encryption and authentication in addition to EDID support for each input and output, ensuring proper source power up and steady video transmission.
This matrix switcher is fully controllable through the RS-232 and optional TCP/IP ports when used with third-party control systems. It is suitable for signal management and HD video distribution systems in control centers, smart lecture halls, and medical, government, and residential environments.
