The RC-8IRP Multimedia Room Controller for TC-PTP01B from Kramer is a multimedia remote control designed for use with the TC-PTP01-B Tower Power Plus. It can be used to control audio & video components, as well as other room facilities, such as lights and screens.
The controller includes (8) configurable back-lit buttons. Functions and macros can be programmed into the unit. The buttons can also be labeled for easier operation. This device also features command programming, which can be achieved via IR learning. It includes (1) Ethernet port, (1) RS-485 port, and (2) relay contact closure ports. A lock-out feature can be used to prevent unauthorized access and tampering. Separately available options for this model include a 3.5mm to IR emitter control cable, 2.4mm to dual-IR emitter control cable, and IR emitter extension cables.
