User manual for the Kurzweil MP20F-BP Digital Piano (Ebony Polish) MP20F-BP
The user manual for the Kurzweil MP20F-BP Digital Piano (Ebony Polish) MP20F-BP provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Musical Instruments - Digital Pianos.
The ebony polish MP20F-BP Digital Piano from Kurzweil features a traditional spinet-piano design while still offering all of the modern benefits of a digital keyboard. There are angled, tuned, and ported-woofer enclosures for providing deep bass and heightened sound dispersion, complementing the instrument's broad sound set. Tweeters placed directly behind the keys create a wide stereo soundfield for both the player and the audience. The MP20's simple and intuitive sound panel is angled for improved visibility and use, and the piano also contains an easy-slide key cover. The piano's keyboard is constructed by the Fatar company, and contains Real-Grand Hammer Action for a professional and reliable instrument. The keyboard uses a hammer motion rather than a key motion, providing the maximum accurate dynamic control. The hammer weight is graded through four gradual zones, from light in the treble-end to heavy in the bass-end. The action also features an escapement which reproduces the let-off and jack-engagement feel of a real acoustic piano. There are three built-in standard acoustic piano pedals, the sustain, the sostenuto and the soft, as well as an optional volume/expression-pedal input for facilitating dynamic performances. A Mara sound chip and VAST architecture are used to create realistic and playable instrument sounds. The digital signals are then realized through hand-matched amplifiers and speakers to produce an intimate sound field. The piano's sonic pallet includes sounds from the company's Triple Strike Grand Piano, as well as a large variety of categorized instrument selections. There are six "favorite" buttons for saving presets and custom combinations, and the piano also offers split and layering features for an added dimension to your music.
