Decorated with a 24k gold-plated ring and a medallion, the 2-12x42 VX-6 Riflescope from Leupold features a wide zoom range and the proprietary Quantum Optical System to produce a medium to long-range scope that will perform in all light conditions and weather. Leupold's Xtended Twilight (XT) optical coatings are a major factor to the Quantum system, and provide enhanced low-light capabilities without sacrificing performance in full daylight. These lens coatings also reduce reflection which increase color transmission and overall image brightness and contrast. In addition to the XT coatings, the lens edges are blackened to reduce glare and diffusion to further increase resolution and contrast.
