Supporting composite video, the Link Electronics Onyx XEV1 Series Analog Video Router supports switching of up to 16 inputs and 32 outputs. This is an analog video switcher that uses the vertical interval of the video frames as the switching point. It is suitable for broadcast, corporate, museums and education. This switcher is a mixed matrix switcher, which you can use to control an optional audio switcher. This allows you to switch the video and have the audio follow the video (AFV), or you can send the picture from one input and output the audio from a different input on the audio router.

The router supports a variety of control protocols, including C-Bus, CAN, RS 232/422, and Ethernet. This flexibility allows you to integrate it with your existing routing system, which may extend the life and usefulness of older equipment that uses the C-Bus or CAN controls. The unit supports an optional control panel.
