User manual for the Lorex by FLIR ECO6 16-Channel DVR with 2TB HDD and LH16162TC169B

The user manual for the Lorex by FLIR ECO6 16-Channel DVR with 2TB HDD and LH16162TC169B provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Surveillance Kits.

Capture and record video day and night with Lorex's ECO6 16-Channel DVR with 2TB HDD and 16 Day/Night 900 TVL Cameras, a 16-channel analog surveillance system that consists of a DVR with a preinstalled 2TB hard disk drive and 16 weatherproof cameras. Additionally, the DVR also features the ECO Stratus, a free remote video monitoring app that allows users to view live video from up to 16 channels in a variety of display modes, such as split and full screen. The app also offers PTZ support and video snapshots, and is compatible with Windows and Mac OS computers, and Android and iOS smart devices.

Furthermore, the DVR offers a versatile collection of video, audio, and alarm compatibility features, including simultaneous HDMI, VGA, and BNC video output. It has an RS-485 terminal that lets you wire a PTZ camera in place of one of the included bullet cameras for full VMS support for local and remote control, presets, and guard tours. Each of the sixteen camera channels has the ability to be masked from the live-view of non-authorized users while continuing to record. This is a critical feature for internal loss-prevention and employee monitoring. Up to four privacy-mask zones may be configured to cover sensitive areas, like access-control or ATM keypads, from live-view and recording.

Multiple recording modes allow you to tailor the DVR's performance to your needs. The video motion detection mode has programmable zones with selectable sensitivities to reduce false alarms. Also, users are given access to the system by function, feature, and channel to give administrators precise control over what every user can or cannot see.

Lastly, the 16 included bullet cameras have built-in 1/3" image sensors that can capture video in the 900 TVL resolution. The cameras' fixed 3.6mm lens captures 80° wide-angle video, which can be easily viewed on a TV or monitor thanks to the cameras' BNC output. Eighteen IR LEDs on each camera provide a maximum night-vision range of up to 130' in ambient lighting, and a split-glass design lens cover reduces IR reflection. The cameras also have compact and lightweight polycarbonate housings that allow installation in challenging environments where larger or heavier cameras cannot be mounted. The cameras' housings have cable pass-through brackets that eliminate hanging wires to be less susceptible to vandals. With an IP66 rating, the cameras' are built to operate in harsh environments and to withstand dust, rain, and snow.

Along with the DVR and sixteen cameras, an HDMI cable, power adapter, mouse, Ethernet cable, remote control, 16 mounting kits, 16 x 60' BNC power cables, and four 4-in-1 power adapters are included.
