All thirteen cameras are weather resistant and can be set up indoors and outdoors, and the bullet cameras feature 18 IR LEDs around the lens allowing up to 130 ft of night-vision.
The DVR offers a versatile collection of video, audio, and alarm compatibility features, including simultaneous HDMI, VGA, and BNC video output. It has an RS-485 terminal that lets you wire the included PTZ camera with full VMS support for local and remote control, presets, and guard tours. Each of the sixteen camera channels has the ability to be masked from the live-view of non-authorized users while continuing to record. This is a critical feature for internal loss-prevention and employee monitoring. Up to four privacy-mask zones may be configured to cover sensitive areas, like access-control or ATM keypads, from live-view and recording.
Multiple recording modes allow you to tailor the DVR's performance to your needs. The video motion detection mode has programmable zones with selectable sensitivities to reduce false alarms. The DVR can be remotely accessed via most web browsers or from mobile devices with the free mobile app for Android/iOS. Users are given access to the system by function, feature, and channel to give administrators precise control over what every user can or cannot see.
The DVR has two audio-in and one audio-out channels for mic-equipped cameras or external mics and speakers, which would allow PA system functionality. Eighteen IR LEDs on each camera provide a maximum night-vision range of up to 130 ft, and a split-glass design lens cover reduces IR reflection that can cause interference. The cameras have compact and lightweight polycarbonate housings allowing installation in challenging areas where larger or heavier cameras cannot be mounted. The housings have cable pass-through brackets that eliminate hanging wires to be less susceptible to vandals. To facilitate installation, each camera comes with 60 ft of pre-terminated video/power cable and a power adapter.
The 10x PTZ camera (3.8-38mm, f/1.8) is an analog dome camera capable of endless panning with speeds of up to 360° per second, giving you the ability to react quickly to any surveillance situation. In addition to the 10x optical zoom, it has a 10x digital zoom with an auto-focus lens to keep everything clearly visible. Like the bullet cameras, this camera also provides up to 700TVL of resolution at 960H aspect ratio. The camera is designed for year-round outdoor use and in low light conditions. It moreover has a Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) system which filters video 'noise' for sharper images in low-light, improved contrast, and reduced memory usage. A 100 ft pre-terminated video/power/PTZ cable is included for immediate use of the camera.
