User manual for the Lynx Studio Technology Aurora 16 LT-HD 115 Volt AD/DA 16HD-115V
The user manual for the Lynx Studio Technology Aurora 16 LT-HD 115 Volt AD/DA 16HD-115V provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Computer Audio - AD/DA Converters.
The Lynx Aurora 16 LT-HD 115 Volt AD/DA Convertor is an analog to digital/digital to analog convertor that operates on 115 volts and is compatible with Pro Tools HD recording systems. It features one primary and one expansion DigiLink port which allows for connection to a Pro Tools HD or Accel Core, HDX or Native card via a DigiLink cable. The Aurora 16 LT-HD emulates HD input and output, or I/O delay, and requires no manual delay adjustments for sample accuracy.
A single Aurora LT-HD unit provides up to 32-channels of both analog and digital I/O per HD card and supports the full channel count in up to 24-bit, 192kHz sampling. It has two modes of operation, 32-channel and 16-channel. In 32-channel operation, the unit allows access to its 16 analog and 16 digital I/O channels simultaneously. The default mode of the Aurora 16 LT-HD is its 16-channel mode, which allows you to connect a second Aurora 16 LT-HD to the same HD card for a higher analog track count. For a track count higher than 32-channels, additional Pro Tools HD cards are required.
Designed to provide accurate conversion, the Aurora LT-HD features no EQ or limiting functions in order to preserve the sound going into the device.
