The lens features an f/4 maximum aperture which can be stopped down to f/32 for control over light and depth-of-field. Super low dispersion glass elements are also used to ensure good contrast and sharpness at all distances. The lens focuses as close as 6.6' and has a front filter thread diameter of 58mm. Additionally, it has a built-in retractable lens hood to limit flaring caused by external light sources.
