The red 4.25" Full Double Stainless Wire Diffusion from Matthews is impervious to rust and holds up well under uneven, intense heat, thus making it preferable for use with open face or Fresnel lighting fixtures. The Stainless Scrim does not diffuse light; its function is to reduce light output at the source.
The scrim does not affect the color temperature and produces no electronic interference. It may be stacked to achieve limitless variations of light intensity.
