The user manual for the MustHD M701S 7" On-Camera Field Monitor with 3G-SDI M701S provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Monitors - On Camera Monitors.
The M701S 7" On-Camera Field Monitor features both a 3G-SDI input with loop-through 3G-SDI output and an HDMI input with loop-through HDMI output. The loop-through output allows you to pass the signal through the monitor and onto other equipment without altering the original signal or requiring a splitter before the monitor. The monitor's IPS panel features 1280 x 800 resolution, 350 nit brightness, 800:1 contrast ration, and 178° vertical and horizontal viewing angles for good color and contrast rendition even when viewed from off center.
Image evaluation tools include Peaking, Histogram, False Color, focus, and exposure aids, and the monitor features 1-to-1 pixel display that allows you to view your image in sections without introducing scaling artifacts. A remote cable that allows you to access and define the user assignable function keys is included for your convenience. The monitor comes with a Sony F970-type battery plate, and it incorporates a removable flip-out sun hood that can be used to shade the LCD screen when used in bright locations. The M701S includes a table stand that incorporates a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole.
