The ND 462-IDA 2nd Gen Night Vision Riflescope from Newcon Optik features Illumination Depth Adjustment Technology(IDA), which integrates intensifier tube with the illuminator to allow improved target visibility at selected distances. The 2nd generation intensifier produces brighter and clearer images than the 1st generation devices and features a 53 lp/mm resolution and S-25 photocathode. The 60mm objective lens improves light gathering capacity in low light conditions, which increases image brightness and detail. Other optical highlights are a notable 4x magnification, a 6° angular field of view, and a 98' minimum focus.
The rugged and durable construction features a waterproof housing that is submersible to 3' for a half an hour and can endure extreme temperatures. Additionally, the riflescope is mountable on most Picatinny style rails and includes a CR123 battery, an objective lens cover, a soft carry case, and a lens cleaning kit.
