The Off-Axis Guider from Olivon is an astro-imaging accessory used with auto-guided optical tubes. Instead of using a guide star in the center of the field of view, off-axis guiders follow a peripheral guide star so the transmitted FOV can be captured while tracking the subject being photographed. Olivon's low-profile design allows the guider to get closer to the center of the FOV without being seen in the captured image. Additionally, the 15mm profile can be used with corrector-camera imaging setups and provides adequate space to accommodate a filter wheel or filter drawer.
