This Underwater Marine Case from Panasonic is a waterproof case enabling you to shoot beneath the water's surface with your DMC-ZS30/TZ40 digital camera. The UW mode helps restore colors absorbed by water, and the lens--accommodated by the housing's built-in flat port--lets you fit more in-frame while getting closer to your subject, correcting for distortion and minimized angle of view caused by water.
Mechanical controls provide access to most camera functions. The DMC-ZS30/TZ40's built-in flash is usable, and a supplied diffuser softens its light to reduce backscatter and hard shadows. The case is constructed from durable polycarbonate and is clear to enable you to monitor the O-ring seal. A cold shoe mount permits the attachment of an optional flash or lighting arm.
