The PV-1 V1 Single Channel Diversity Handheld VHF Wireless Microphone System (214.500 MHz) from Peavey is a diversity wireless handheld microphone system which operates on the clear channel VHF 214.500 MHz frequency. The proprietary compander circuitry yields a dynamic range of up to 120dB. The system includes a squelch control for locking out potential interference.
The handheld microphone is equipped with a neodymium cartridge designed to deliver high quality audio reproduction, minimal handling noise, and enhanced feedback rejection. The wireless transmitter is built into the mic chassis and utilizes a 9-volt alkaline battery for powering, which can last for up to a maximum of 16 hours of transmission.
The VHF diversity receiver is of half-rack design, and allows for maximized reception range and dropout protection, and features full LED indicators, and both 1/4" unbalanced and XLR balanced outputs. Special circuitry designed for noiseless transmitter ON/OFF switching is also incorporated into the unit. A snap out panel with locking tabs can be utilized for single or dual, side by side rack mounting with an optional rack mounting kit.
