The user manual for the Pelco Indoor Wedge Enclosure EH2020 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Mounts & Housings - Housings.
The Pelco EH2020 Enclosure is used with small-to-medium format cameras. The maximum camera and lens combination size (with the lens fully extended) for the enclosure is 2.8 x 3 x 8" (WxHxD). The UL-listed enclosure is suitable for fixed or dropped (false) ceilings.
For drop tile ceiling applications, you can use an optional 360-degree rotating mounting plate (E2020) allowing the enclosure to rotate in 10-degree increments to change the viewing area.
Engineered for ease of installation and maintenance, the small wedge-style enclosure has a seam-welded, 18 gauge cold rolled steel construction which provides improved surface with accurate uniformity in thickness. The white epoxy polyester powder coat offers a smooth surface and prevents color-fading in sunlight.
The indoor enclosure features a removable lid that allows easy accessibility while installing and servicing. The lid which is attached to the back box is protected by two tamper-resistant screws, restricting unauthorized access. The cable entry is via two conduit knockouts in front and rear of the enclosure back box.
The enclosure meets most fire code requirements. The viewing window is made of Lexan, a tough and break-resistant polycarbonate which prevents the lens and camera from loss of light. The wedge-style indoor enclosure features an adjustable mounting sled to accept various camera and lens combinations.
