The silver BDR-XD055 6x Slim Portable USB 3.0 BD/DVD/CD Burner from Pioneer is a Blu-ray disc burner that has a smooth slot-loading mechanism. The drive allows users to watch Blu-ray disc titles and author high-definition Blu-ray disc content. It supports the BDXL format that offers 128GB quad layer and 100GB triple layer Blu-ray media. It can read BD-ROM discs, read/write to single, dual, triple, and quad layer BD-R discs, and is backwards compatible to read and write to DVD and CD formats. The drive is USB powered so no AC adapter is necessary. Roxio Toast Lite is the included software.
