Two features of modern production mean data management is no longer a luxury, but a necessity: that fact that virtually all acquisition formats are digital, and the sheer volume of data. It is in addressing this problem that Silverstack v4 XT from Pomfort comes in. It allows you to manage metadata, backup and distribute media complete with checksum verification, create QuickTime proxies from select camera formats, and much more. The software finds a place on set, helping production get a jump on organizing media, in the pre-post production organizational phase, and during post production. It scales to accommodate the needs of a single production and a small team up to large collaborative workflows with multiple concurrent projects. On top of everything that carries over from the basic version, XT features support for importing libraries, LTO tape drives, adds Sony F5/F55/F65 RAW support, and includes additional metadata tools.
This version of Silverstack XT is a 1-year subscription license. To install, download the installer from the Pomfort. An activation key will be emailed to you in one to three business days from the date the order was placed.
