The user manual for the Princeton Tec Tropic Pack Light Kit (Blue) TRP-BL provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Underwater Photography - Dive Lights.
The blue Tropic Pack Light Kit from Princeton Tec includes three dive lights: the Shockwave II, the Tec 40, and the Eco Flare. All three lights come in a blue housings. The most powerful light in the pack, the Shockwave II, shines at 205 lumens. This light uses a Xenox bulb for warm incandescent light which is preferred by many divers as the warm color temperature has the ability to bring out the natural colors of the reef. The second light in the pack is the Tec 40 which uses a halogen bulb and shines at 28 lumens. The halogen bulb provides a warmer light underwater and is suitable for showing the reef's vibrant colors. This handheld light can be used as a backup light or a primary light in the daytime. The twist bezel activated switch on the Tec 40 prevents the light from accidentally turning on and off, preserving battery power while in transit or storage. The third light in the pack is the Eco Flare which uses an LED light and shines at 10 lumens. This light can burn an excess of 500+ hours on 2 AAA alkaline batteries. The Eco Flare can be set on constant light, high-output mode for use as an area/personal locator light, or on flashing red mode for low-visibility dark nights. Also, this light can be attached to your dog's collar for easy identification in low light conditions.
