The 7" Iris Pro 1080i Compatible HDMI LCD Monitor Basic Kit from ProAm USA provides you with a DSLR-mountable LCD monitor designed to let you to see your subject from a wider and brighter perspective. The 7" LCD screen can display 16:9 widescreen or 4:3 aspect ratio images/video up to 1080i HD, even though its native resolution is 800 x 480. It features an on-screen display which enables you to make image adjustments. Screen configuration controls include brightness, contrast, color temperature, saturation, and hue/tint. The monitor has a 140° viewing angle and enables you to flip the image left/right and up/down.
The included accessory shoe mounting adapter enables the monitor to be used as a DSLR monitor, DV video camera monitor, or monitor for a camera crane or jib. The picture information is always on display at one side of the frame without obstructing the view. The monitor is portable and can be connected through HDMI in, RCA AV in, or VGA in to several compatible cameras, including the Canon 5D Mark II, 7D, Canon XL1, Canon XL2, Nikon D3, and more.
