This expansion unit features a 48TB storage capacity as it includes 16 x 4TB SAS HDDs along with a dual active/active RAID controller for enhanced fail-over support. You also benefit from support for both 6Gbps and 3Gbps SAS and SATA drives for broad hard drive compatibility. The SAN storage solution features a 3U-16 form factor complete with hot-swappable drive bays allowing you to exchange out drives without shutting down the system. Should power be interrupted to the enclosure, you can rely on hot-swappable, N+1 redundant power supplies to ensure system availability if one power supply fails.
