The Raytec RM100-AI-120 IR Illuminator (850nm, Power Supply) is a high-performance IR lighting solution used in night surveillance operations, and offers a long life (10 years) and zero maintenance. Adaptive Illumination technology provides a very convenient and quick way for the installers to adjust the angle (120-180°) of the light projection according to the specific security needs and camera’s field-of-view. The IR Illuminator includes the Advanced Cool Running system that drives away the heat from the LEDs and protects it from abnormal stress, ensuring constant level of light throughout the life of the illuminator. Even illumination reduces bit rate and lowers the storage requirements, useful for encoding and digital recording systems. It also includes Active LED Life Control that controls that LED output during the illuminator’s life cycle.
The RM100-AI-120 IR Illuminator, with a wavelength of 850nm, is suitable for low light installations up to 492’ (150m). It has a polycarbonate lens design that protects the illuminator against harsh blows from crowbars, baseball bats, and successive shots from air pistols and rifles.
